The Petitioners cross-examination of the superstar witness for Electoral Commission has stood over a pink sheet that has not been correctly categorised.
Philip Addison, main counsel for the petitioners provided the witness a list of seven pink sheets that were unspecified and requested the witness to approve this.
But the Defendants elevated a complaint mentioning a difference in how the list was categorised.
Quarshie Idun counsel for the E.C told the latest list numbering seven did not count with the data of the KPMG report and they have appropriately notified a member of the Petitioners’ counsel Akoto Ampaw.
He told according to the Petitioners’ pleadings, the slip was recognized in the category MBJ but had now been found under MBF.
But Addison also described that the seven pink sheets have appropriately been taken and they have already delivered the parallel tags in the KMPG report.
The Defendants found this irregularity undesirable and they were the most impressed with the details by Addison. Tsatsu Tsikata suspects the Petitioners of making a different case.
The juries tried to justify the condition saying if the sheet was found to have been gather in a line and recognized by the KPMG report, then its use must be acceptable in spite of the mis- categorisation.
But the Defendants would not mark or accept into this. Led by Tsikata, they told the bench cannot fix up a case for the Petitioners.
Addison has confessed that even yet the pink sheets have been taken; there is a necessity for re-categorisation.
Afterwards, back-to back communication with the bench, it was exposed that Dr.Bawumia superstar witness for the Petitioners had re-categorised it but did not fond it.
Addison simplified that tries to fond the re-categorised list was excluded. He has also guaranteed that the contentious pink sheet was counted only once.
The juries have left on break and will return to give a dominant on the complaint raised by the Defendants.
