Gyan’s two goals in Omdurman broke Abedi Pele’s record of scoring for Ghana and also confirmed the important victory for the Black Stars. On Friday night Ghana’s star striker came-up huge where he didn’t only gave a one goal lead to Ghana but he scored another goal which put them ahead when Ghana was reduced to ten men and given up an equalizer – both things happened around the half-hour mark.
The Qualifiers of 2006 and 2010 World Cup went to 3-1 victory but they remained a point behind Chipolopolo.
Asamoah Gyan is only 27, his two goals in the last match took him to 34 International goals and now he is standing equal to the legendary Abedi Pele as the Black Stars all-time top scorer.
