The Ghana Meets Naija concert has been known to be a concert showcasing musical talents from both Ghana and Nigeria.

This year however, organizers, Empire Entertainment in a quest to include all facets of the music industry has revealed plans for a battle between the biggest DJs from both countries on the night.

The showdown which is being termed as a ‘turntable-ist battle royale’ is set to go down between Nigeria’s highest rated DJ, mixtape specialist and Naeto C’s official disc jockey, DJ Neptune and Ghana’s finest DJ and Sarkodie’s official disc jockey, DJ Mensah.

This would be the first time; deejays from both countries are being pitched against each other and it is set to be an exciting part of the show which is set for the Dome on the June 30.

Ahead of the showdown, DJ Neptune has revealed that in the coming weeks he would be releasing a special Ghana Meets Naija mixtape Vol.1 to prep music lovers ahead of the phenomenal clash at the Dome.

Akeem Oladunni known as the ever-blazing DJ Neptune has over the years grown to become recognized as Nigeria’s biggest party DJ and has consistently churned out the biggest mixtapes on the Nigerian music market.

He started DJing from his secondary school days in Lagos, later graduating from the University with a Masters Degree in Audio Engineering.

Ghana’s untouchable DJ Mensa, on the other hand with eight years of experience is a force to reckon with in the game of hip pop, R n B, Hi-life and Hiplife in Ghana.

DJ Mensah began his DJing career with Sound Max entertainment and went on to have short stints with Bull Dog and Yegoala Night Club, Aphrodisiac Night Club, Club 202 respectively and also the official DJ for Empire Entertainment.
