New Zealand Mosque
In the two mosques Christchurch New Zealand, 40 people have been killed and more than 20 seriously injured.
Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister New Zealand described the incidents one of the country’s “darkest days” and also described as a terrorist attack.
Police commissioner Mike Bush told that 4 people, one among them is a woman have been taken into custody.
Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison described the suspected attacker as an “extremist right-wing violent terrorist”. He also told that one of those who are captured was an Australian citizen.
According to the witness, people were bleeding and running out of the Al Noor mosque. According to the Police Commissioner Mike Bush” multiple fatalities” were recorded at two locations. But there are very few details come out of the second site.
All mosques in the city are directed to immediately close down until any further notice from authorities.
It is still unclear that how many shooters there were, but 1 gunman is an Australian who is believed to have written a manifesto outlining his intentions, that outlined the support of far right and anti-immigrant ideology.
Shooter has appears to have live-streamed as he shot victims in a mosque while taken his footage. Armed Police called on the public not to share the “extremely distressing” material on social media.
Facebook said it had removed the Facebook and Instagram accounts of the terrorist as well as any support voiced for that crime.
