Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa has expressed his concerns over power cuts issue in the country for the first time since December.

Eskom and the government are trying to find a solution to power cuts.
He said that he is feeling quite angry with the state-owned electricity company Eskom. However, the company explained that consistent pressure on the national grid would lead to power cuts at homes and businesses.
It further warned that the power cuts, load-shedding, could endure for about four hours at a time without notice.
Eskom and the government are trying to find a solution for the energy crisis. Stage 4 load shedding left offices, shops, factories, traffic lights and private homes in the dark.
Energy is key to economic development
Mrl Ramaphosa criticized that Eskom firm and said that it had touched the point of dysfunctionality. According to him, the role of energy is really important for the development of economic growth in our country. The government is trying to address the issue.
Mr. Ramaphosa also expressed his worries over the issue people also failed to pay the electricity bills. The issue resulted in a revenue shortfall at Eskom.
He further expressed that users should understand that if we want electricity and also want Eskom to endure, we should have to pay for the electricity. We need to pay for it just like we pay for the airtime, use for the cellphone.
