Depression is a state of mind with clinical symptoms. Depression pops out of persistent and long-term stressful events or conditions.
Depression is result of hormonal imbalance, our mind acts abnormally and responds to unwanted calls in an unorthodox ways.
Person with depression feels as if he has lost all the hope in his life, becomes isolated, thinks over and over again over past events in regrets, is down and out, lack of motivation incites feeling of apathy.
Insomnia is sleeplessness; a depressive patient is more prone to be afflicted with insomnia.
Insomnia and depression can go in parallel. Lower self-esteem and lack on encouragement and hope in the depression patient drills the person within a hollowed shell of agony, fear, recklessness and sleeplessness.
Insomnia is a state of mind too as our mind wants to sleep and wake up fresh, but unwanted thoughts will take over the mind of a depressive person and he will lick the dust the whole night and fall astray.
A person who suffers from insomnia will find difficulty in sleeping at night but becomes a habitual day dreamer.
Sleeplessness and depression are difficult to manage, accommodate and control, but counseling along with suitable medication can cure the symptoms for some period of time at least.
Once things get out of control then antidepressants may not serve the cause of healing and patient is ready to give up his life and suicide.
Once diagnosed with either of the two disease or both, continues exchange of dialogues and ideas with the patient will make him feel relieved to some extent at least.
