For the first time in Ghana Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) announce a reduction in the prices of its petrol, with Super selling for GH¢4.98 and diesel selling at GH¢4.98.
Marketers and distributors of Shell-branded products and services Vivo Energy, has followed suit by reducing the ex-pump prices in the first window for the month of December in line with changing market trends.
Motorists who visit any of the over 220 Shell service stations nationwide should expect a reduction of GH0.05p (5 pesewas) per litre at the pump.
Shell FuelSave Diesel – GH¢ 5.050 per litre and Shell FuelSave Super – GH¢5.020per litre will take effect on 2nd December from 6pm.
Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Ebenezer Faulkner, said in a statement that Shell is dedicated to provide motorists with high-quality petrol and other products and services at the best prices.
He said,customers remain the focus of our business at Shell and we will continue to provide them with quality petrol designed to last longer without any extra cost.
