The previous Minister of Information, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has uncovered that he handpicked and prescribed Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to be delegated as an appointee Minister of Information.
As indicated by Dr Abdul-Hamid, when he was selected as a Minister and President Akufo-Addo requesting that he prescribe who he needed to work with, he handpicked Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to be his representative.
In a radio meeting on Accra based Joy FM Thursday evening responding to the primary major pastoral changes made by President Akufo-Addo, Dr Abdul-Hamid said Oppong Nkrumah was the main individual he actually handpicked out of the three appointee Information Ministers.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has since been advanced as a substantive Minister of Information following the development of Dr Abdul-Hamid to the Inner City and Zongo Development Ministry in President Akufo-Addo’s first major pastoral changes reported Thursday evening.
Oppong Nkrumah would now need to experience Parliamentary reviewing to be endorsed as a substantive priest of state.
Is Mustapha Abdul-Hamid’s movement to Inner City a demotion?
“Hahahaha, I have not…well it isn’t, we are largely serves, we as a whole sit in Cabinet et cetera, that hasn’t changed. On the off chance that I had been removed from the Cabinet maybe, you could state I have been downgraded yet even above all, I have been given a higher bringing in my view, on the grounds that there is no preferable administration over support of your kin,” Dr Abdul-Hamid said when he was asked whether he has been downgraded.
