An Accra High Court has put an interlocutory directive on the authorities of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), limiting them from releasing their obligations.
The order takes after a movement recorded by the Attorney General’s Office as a major aspect of endeavors by government to rebuild the affiliation inferable from the debasement outrage that has as of late shaken football organization in the nation.
The awe-inspiring examination was led by pro investigative writer, Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI group, and it catches top football authorities, including the prompt past GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, taking part in debasement.
Showing up under the steady gaze of the court yesterday, the Attorney General, Gloria Afua Akuffo, in an ex-parte movement, supplicated the court for the directive pending a request of to break down and rebuild the GFA, which she said has turned into a place for “self-glorification.”
The movement looked for three reliefs, including a formally twisting up the exercises of the GFA, controlling the authorities from practicing their obligations and arranging off resources of the GFA.
The AG requested that the court permit the Registrar General to go about as the official outlet of the GFA.
