The Chief Executive Officer for the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng, has sued the Executive Director for the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, Ghana (COPEC – Ghana), Duncan Amoah, over the demise risk affirmations made against the BOST CEO.
The suit, which is required to be proceeded onward 23rd March in the High Court stated: ” The offended party/candidate in this imploring this fair court for a request of order controlling the litigant/respondent in this, his specialists, relegates, laborers, and all people asserting through or under him from additionally distributing or broadcasting any word or words or pictures in any way at all such that offended party had coopted, drawn in, contracted or requested the administrations of any individual or people to revile, affront, assault, debilitate the life of the litigant or undermine to kill respondent in three days pending a last assurance to this suit upon terms all the more especially expressed in the going with testimony.”
Mr Amoah had said that his life was in threat after he revealed an affirmed shady arrangement at BOST.
This was after he guaranteed that Ghana lost in abundance of GHS30 million in income from an exchange BOST had with an unlicensed organization.
The misfortunes, the Chamber demands, were recorded at each phase of the esteem chain from the offer of exactly 1.8 million barrels of raw petroleum, to charges for holding whatever is left of the rough.
