The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the acknowledgment of his vision of Ghana Beyond Aid will come to nothing if there is no peace in the nation.
As per President Akufo-Addo, “The essential prerequisite for thriving is peace. The principal commitment on any legislature is to guarantee the wellbeing and security of the citizenry. As your leader, this is a commitment I acknowledge, and I am resolved to release dependably.”
The President noticed that “the current spate of outfitted burglaries is absolutely inadmissible. I will work to guarantee that residents can approach their day by day obligations in the certainty that they are sheltered. No scoundrel will have the space to threaten natives and produce a feeling of weakness in our nation,” he said.
President Akufo-Addo made this known on Tuesday, sixth March, 2018, at the nation’s 61st Independence Day festivity, at the Black Star Square.
President Akufo-Addo focused on that the police have the essential duty of keeping up peace and keeping lawfulness in our general public, and, in excellent cases, with the sponsorship of the military.
The administration, he guaranteed, is doing, and will do whatever it takes to empower the police release their obligations viably.
