Previous Attorney General, Martin Amidu, has openly apologized to all well-wishers who can’t go to his verifying by the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, as the Special Public Prosecutor.
In an announcement replicated to citifmonline.com, Martin Amidu, who wished to have every one of his supporters go to the verifying, clarified that he was requested to welcome a particular number, which he did arbitrarily.
“Tragically, the letter composed from the Parliamentary Service welcoming me ‘to show up before the Committee at its open hearing on Tuesday, thirteenth February, 2018 at 10:00a.m. in Committee Rooms 1-3, New Parliamentary Office Complex, Parliament House, Accra’ with a connected Notes for Nominees, which confines the quantity of “supporters of the Nominee that will be permitted at the setting for the Public Hearing.” Consequently, just a set number of welcome cards were given to me for the reason which I have officially circulated on a first call premise regardless of whether I knew the guest by and by.
