Apple removes App store from its iTunes on desktop
It is certainly a very big week for Apple. With the very big announcement of the iPhone X, iPhone 8, AirPower wireless charger Apple Watch 3, and Apple TV 4K at its live event, it seems very easy for the smaller changes to be missed out among the big announcements.
But this thing does not mean that small changes are not taking place. One of such small changes that seem to be unnoticed is the streamlining of iTunes for desktop, removing the App Store with the update to 12.7.
The users should not worry; this thing does not mean that the App Store is being sent away; simply that it will not be living in iTunes anymore. Considering the fact that most of the people possibly do all of their management of apps in the App Store on their devices, in any case, we cannot simply imagine this change to be making much of a difference in the lives of the users, except giving you one just less reason to download iTunes.
As stated on the Apple support page, this change is on its way to come because of the reason that the new iTunes focuses on audiobooks, movies, podcasts, music and TV shows.
The Other changes that support this step count in the transition of the Apple’s educational iTunes U content into the section of Podcasts, and the Internet Radio addition in the sidebar.
With iOS 11, the users will be able to download earlier bought ringtones straight to their phone too. So, these can be called small changes, but they are some very handy streamlining.
