The Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu has rendered an inadequate expression of remorse to the gathering taking after a war of words amongst him and the Gender Minister, Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba.
The NPP, at a National Council meeting Wednesday night communicated dissatisfaction and lament against the activities and expressions of Mr. Naabu and Madam Djaba and in this manner guided them to render conciliatory sentiments.
Thusly, in a conciliatory sentiment letter dated May 11, 2017, and routed to the gathering’s Acting General Secretary, Mr. Naabu guaranteed not to rehash his direct.
I’m by this letter communicating my significant statement of regret to the whole New Patriotic Party organization, the previous president, the present VP, the president and the great individuals of Ghana over the disastrous trade of words between my great self and Otiko Afisa Djaba, the letter read.
Mr. Naabu additionally expressed in the letter that he didn’t have any verification or confirmation to bolster the affirmations leveled against Madam Djaba and the Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Rockson Bukari, that they played a part in the murder of Adams Mahama.
As indicated by him, he made those articulations out of extraordinary outrage and incitement and guaranteed not to rehash his lead.
“I rehash wholeheartedly that, such direct could never be rehashed. It is my true petition that, I could never rehash such a direct. It was because of extraordinary outrage and incitement that I expressed those words as I don’t have any verification or proof to bolster those affirmations,” the letter said.
He additionally asked the gathering and the nation, in general, to excuse him for any humiliation his articulations may have brought about.
