He vowed to eradicate all the challenges that had been faced by pilgrims over last year.
He told Muslim community in Ghana, not like past years when all Hajj pilgrims gather on one place to be airlifted, making confusion and disorder. His administration would find effective ways to make the process easy and comfortable.
Speaking on the radio program, with host Kwesi Parker Wilson after the swearing in ceremony of Hajj Board on Thursday by President Nana Akufo Addo, he said, ‘In this year’s hajj process, pilgrims are not going to face any difficulty. Everything will be well organized. Pilgrims will not gather on one venue where there will be chaos and distress. Pilgrims will be informed about their flights two days before and then they have to come on exact dates.’
He guaranteed that in case if a person pays for a flight and then is not able to make the trip, his money will be reimbursed.
He said, ‘We are not going to confront a terrible situation (like before) where individuals will pay and won’t go. Each one of the individuals who pay must have the chance of performing the Hajj.’
