Spurs have continued their pathetic run of form in European competition following a frustrating 1-0 loss at the hands of Gent in the round of 32 in UEFA Europa League last night.
Ghanaian Center Back, Nana Akwasi Asare marshaled the defense for the Belgium based outfit and made sure that his team kept English Title Chasers on bay. Spurs can definitely make a comeback with the quality of players they have.
Ghanaian defender outmuscled the fire power of Tottenham on the Thursday evening.
The 30 year old workaholic center back played 80 minutes on the pitch and showed no signs of slowing down. Gent registered a win courtesy of a goal from Jeremy Perbet, who scored 59th goal for Gent last night.
Asare has been very consistent for his side in both domestically and at European Level for Gent.
