Nana Addo addressing at manifesto launch
Third time Presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party, Hon Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has responded to the critics who have been making fun of his small height and old age, saying, ‘I will support you as a small and sincere man, with a big heart for Ghana and its people.’
It seems like Nana Addo has taken the criticism on his height and age very seriously, that is why he has turned that in to his favor while addressing hundreds of NPP supporters at the 2016 manifesto launch of party, took place on Sunday at International Trade Fair Centre.
According to him, small height doesn’t matter but small heart does, he has a big heart and that is enough to support and lead a healthy country.
He said, ‘I was presenting myself as a man who was born before the independence of Ghana, however the Almighty God has been nice to me and gave me competent mind and good health to lead a powerful and capable country.
NPP’s flag bearer has responded to critics very well, who have used his age and small height as campaign tool that he is not able to lead a successful country, but Nana Akufo-Addo has turned all criticism in his favor and delivered a very powerful speech.
